Roc Style with R&B Singer OLIVIA (Vh1’s “Love & Hip Hop”)

From signing to Clive Davis’ J records to joining 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records, Olivia has witnessed her share of music industry politics. We’ve known little of what’s really been going on in her life until she resurfaced in the reality TV circuity. But with editing and manipulation, one’s true story can still be misconstrued, especially when the cameras are constantly running.

Roc Style caught up with Liv to discuss her personal style and inspiration, record deal status, new projects, and of course, what’s next. And in one of her most candid interviews, Liv gives us just what we want — the real Olivia.
Olivia’s personal style in three words: “Edgy, comfortable and sexy…”

On style inspiration: “Just everything that embodies Olivia. For one, I’m a tomboy that loves to be in heels and loves to be sexy and laid back…”
On how she was portrayed on Love & Hip Hop:”Olivia’s good and Olivia’s happy, but on the show they had me look ill-advised, like I’m saddened. But Olivia’s really good!”
What’s next for Olivia: “The album is coming out. I also have a book coming out…an inspirational book about different things that have happened throughout the course of my career and life, as well as acting endeavors and two mixtapes.”
