With over 500 millions active users, it would take more than a little competition to knock Facebook off its social networking throne. Twitter, however, is still rarely “young” with only 21 million users. Unlike Facebook, which offers a level of exclusivity of content, by way of networks, privacy settings, etc., Twitter is a far more open and public broadcasting platform. Google+ parallels the exclusivity of Facebook; and while also using its integration with Google accounts, it can equally broadcast the way Twitter does, with more perks for users and businesses. Facebook CEO,Mark Zuckerberg has announced that the company plans to launch something new, so I’m sure Google+ isn’t worrying them at all. But, Twitter must be regretting turning down Google’s earlier offer to buy the company for $10 billion.
