VIDEO: Kanye West Booed At Macy’s Day Parade

Kanye West is still angry at Taylor Swift. At a surprise performance of his acclaimed new album at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom around 1 a.m. Wednesday, West, 33, launched another attack against the country star, 20, whom he famously ambushed at the 2009 Video Music Awards. During his rant, West seemed to suggest that the Speak Now singer used the VMA brouhaha to bolster her fame.

“Taylor never came to my defense at any interview,” West ranted. “And rode the waves and rode it and rode it,” he sniped of Swift.

Swift wasn’t West’s only target. He also dug into Matt Lauer, with whom he recently tussled on the Today Show.

West charged that Lauer “exploited” him as they chatted about former President George W. Bush, who lamented that West called him a “racist” for his handling of Katrina.

Bush had said that West’s comment was a “lowest moment” in his Presidency; West also objected to the Today Show playing a video clip of the VMA moment during their Today Show interview.

“Because [of] the popularity of me, they exploited that…That’s not what he f*cking said!” West railed. “That’s not what he said! He said it was one of his lowest moments. But it shows you—the way they try to villainize, the way they tried to do that.”

  1. We need to start a new “dumbest guy in America” list. This Kanye slams and rudely insults Taylor Swift during an awards ceremony and now he has the audacity to try to spin HIS act, as: “she is using this to bolster her fame”. If he hadn’t done the dirty deed himself he would probably be claiming that the “guy’ who took the mic from her was a shill so that she could use the sympathy later. He seems to be forgetting that he is the “guy”.

Taylor Swift (BTW, I am not fan) was relatively quiet about the whole Kanye mental breakdown so there is nothing for Kanye to complain about, but wait, this is Kanye after all, so what she (according to Sir Kanye) did wrong was to “not come to his defense” during any of her interviews. Ohhhh, I see Kanye, that was her duty after you stole her moment of glory and defamed her in front of her family, fans and the entire country….. she was supposed to defend you….. now I understand your logic. What an egomaniac! What is YOUR “duty” Kanye? Wait, I think I already know the answer: To do and say whatever comes to your mind regardless of how false, ridiculous or slanderous it may be and then later pretend that you were somehow wronged in the process. So far, although it is politically incorrect to ever call an African American a racist….. you sound like a racist.

What an idiot. He seems to feel the main issue with Bush is that bush said “it was one of the lowest moments” and Lauer mis-stated it as “the lowest moment” as if Lauer is another person taking advantage of poor Kanye. This guy is so arrogant that he accuses those he has attacked and pretends they are the ones who have wronged him.

In the case of the ex-president’s handling of Katrina, he (Bush) quickly dedicated 82 billion dollars, organized private charities, massive evacuations, temporary housing, fixed the levees, stripped out the homes of those affected and basically made America pay for the losses of a local population who built an entire city below sea level at the edge of the ocean. Since most of the population of New Orleans is African American and everything possible was done, quickly and without talk of ANY paying back, again I fail to see your logic Kanye. The most massive and expensive public bail out and free public money give away in the history of our country. I will hold my opinion on wether or not this was a wise outlay of the national budget, but how anyone can use that as an example of president Bush being a racist is beyond reason. Kanye have you ever been to New Orleans? I have, you have to drive over 30 miles of water (bridges) just to get there. There are earthen dams all around it because although it is surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico (ocean) it is below sea level. Massive pumps must constantly pump sea water off the land and back into the ocean like a hole in the sand at the beach. It is a ridiculous place to build a city regardless of the race of people who reside there. The argument could be made that it was even more ridiculous to pump another multi-billion dollars of everyone else’s money back into the big pit that is New Orleans. It is not a question of wether New Orleans would flood, it was a matter of when or how often. Putting that money into that city is virtual proof of the lack of racism on the part of the former president and the American people in general.

I cannot find a thread of credibility or wisdom in anything Kanye has said or claimed. In fact although I don’t follow Kanye West, the only news, comments or antics I ever hear about are where Kanye is complaining about other people and trying to convince the world how unfair it is to African Americans and Kanye West. Even your life Kanye, seems to be proof that anyone can rise in fame and fortune if they posses or develop a marketable talent. Still nothing seems to make you happy or content. The real problem with Kanye West…. is Kanye West. MH
