Yesterday afternoon, ESSENCE hosted its 5th annual “Black Women in Hollywood” luncheon to honor ESSENCE March cover girl, Kerry Washington, actress Paula Patton, Oscar-nominee Octavia Spencer and iconic star, Pam Grier, along with “Grey’s Anatomy” creator and executive producer, Shonda Rhimes. Guests enjoyed Moet & Chandon Imperial champagne throughout the luncheon and were greeted with Mini bottles of Moet Imperial as they entered into the event. In celebration of the 5th anniversary, Moet & Chandon presented a 3L Jeroboam crystallized bottle to Essence, signed by many of the days guests including Emma Stone, Kerry Washington, and many more, to be auctioned off to charity. This annual event celebrates the brightest stars who, through their work, have helped illuminate positive images of Black women worldwide. Guests included, Octavia Spencer, Viola Davis, Emma Stone, Shonda Rhimes, Paula Patton, Pam Grier, Jesse Williams, Holly Robinson Peete, Niecy Nash and many more.
